Vacancy Council assistant Volt Maastricht

What will you do? 

As Council assistant you will work closely with our council members, Municipal executive and the group support, advising on all matters concerning the physical domain. This domain includes topics such as building a new student campus, improving the accessibility of Maastricht and waste policy. As Council assistant you attend the monthly domain meetings, read relevant policy documents, engage in discussions with stakeholders and make sure you are up to date with the latest developments in the city. Your findings and advice are fed back to our council members in the weekly group meeting. In this way you have a direct influence on the city's policy!

An ideal opportunity to develop yourself and learn what it is like to be politically active.

In Maastricht we focus on creating a Maastricht for all its citizens, while grasping cross-border opportunities with both hands. 

‍Important Information:

You are available 8 to 10 hours a week

Our group meeting is weekly on Monday evening from 19:30-21:00

You will attend one domain meeting per month (on Tuesdays or Wednesdays) 

The amount of the fee is 145 euros per meeting (1x per month)
